"MISS MATTIE CHANDLER

    Miss Mattie Chandler, 75, died suddenly Tuesday morning at her home
near here and was buried Wednesday morning at Smyrna Primitive Baptist
Church with Rev. B. B. Findley, of Goodwater, conducting the funeral
rites from the church.  She is survived by one brother, John Chandler,
and one sister, Mrs. Phil Dardegree, of Flordia." (1)
