Conaway, of Kellyton, route 2, came to the end of her pilgrimage. As on the morning of the 13th we entered what had been her earthly home, we found that only the fallen tent was there, its occupant had gone away. Sister Lula was the daughter of A. C. King, now living in Arkansas. She was born in Boone county, Missouri, April 19, 1878; J. L. Conaway December 18, 1895. She professed faith in Christ soon after her marriage, and her husband joined Providence Baptist Church. Her devotion to her husband and four children left to mourn her absence, was beautiful and enduring. Her faith in God, and the power of His supporting grace, enabled her to bear her sufferings with patience and submission, saying that she had peace with God, all was well with her soul. She sleeps in Poplar Springs cemetery in Coosa county, Alabama. May Divine protection be constantly over her little ones, and may Divine consolation be the happy portion of her sorrowing husband, is the prayer of many friends. J. R. Conger."
