Mr. George Cullen Fowler, age 83, died Tuesday morning in Tuscaloosa.
He is survived by one daughter." (1)

"MR. G. C. FOWLER DIES IN TUSCALOOSA ON TUESDAY

    Mr. George Cullen Fowler, age 83, died Tuesday morning in
Tuscaloosa.
    He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Cora Vickers; three sons,
Walter B., William Lee, and Benjamin C.
    Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Weogufka Church
with the Reverend  Prickett in charge, Mathis-Jones Mortuary, funeral
services directors." (2)

George Cullen Fowler was born 1856 and died May 1939. He is buried in 
Weogufka Baptist Cemetery, located 2 miles due south of Weogufka, Coosa Co., AL. 
His headstone reads:
