HILYER On November 14, the death angel swept through the home of S. H. Hilyer and took from his beloved wife. She was sick only a few days. All was done for her that tender hearts and loving hands could do for her but her pains could not be eased and God said, "come unto me and I will give you rest." She was the mother of seven children, one of which she has gone to meet in that happy home above. She leaves a husband, six children, forty grand children and seven great grand children, a host of relatives and friends to mourn her loss. She was seventy three years, two months and twenty-four days old. She had been a member of the Methodist church thirty years. Her remains was laid to rest at the New Salem Cemetery Monday, Nov 15, at 2:00 p. m. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. A. C. Wells. Cheer up dear husband and children wipe your tear dimmed eyes, for mother is sweetly resting in her home beyond the skies. Two of her children." (1) (1) The Chronicle, In Memory of Sarah E.
