A. Culver, 10 miles west of Rockford last Tuesday night, at the age of 88 years, and was interred in the cemetery at Salem Church, Wednesday. Mrs. Logan was reared in Georgia and came to Alabama with her husband soon after her marriage and settled in Coosa county, where she continued to reside until the day of her death. Besides numerous relative and friends she leaves surviving her four sons, F. M. Logan of Rockford, J. B. Logan of Marble Valley, J. C. Logan, of Arkwright, and Ellis Logan of Andara, Oklahoma; also two daughters, Mrs. J. A. Culver and Mrs. J. W. Horton of this county."(1) (1) The Chronicle, Local and Personal, 20 Jun 1913, p. 5.
