"Resolution of Respect on the Death of Patrick Jasper McAdory Weogufka, Ala., Feb 5, 1910, Whereas on the 8th day of January 1910, at 3 o'clock in the after noon, it pleased Him who controls the destiny of man to take from our mist our beloved brother, Patrick Jasper McAdory. Brother McAdroy was 76 years, 9 months and 28 days old when death came, and had been an upright member of the masonic fraternity since he arrived at the age of 21 years. He was a native of Alabama, a citizen of Coosa county for more than a half a century, and a member of Weogufka Lodge No. 378 A. F. and A. M. since soon after its organization. While Brother McAdory's education and qualifications fitted him for the more exalted station in life, he was never a seeker for places of honor or fame, yet his wonderful influence in the affairs of his state, his county, his church and his lodge will go down in our history as worthy of the man he was, and the noble christian character he left. Therefore be it resolved: 1st. That in the death of Bro. McAdory this lodge has lost one of its oldest as well as useful members; the state and county a good citizen; his church and community a true brother and friend; his broken-hearted wife a loyal husband. 2nd. That we bow in humble submission to the will of the Heavenly Father in this dispensation of His divine providence, and that while we mourn his loss we commend the noble life he lived as worthy of emulation. 3rd. That we tendered the bereaved wife and relative our sincere sympathy in this trying ordeal. 4th. That a copy of these resolutions be spread upon the minutes of this lodge, also furnished the county paper for publications and a copy furnished to the family. A. J Peterson J. E. Thmpson} Com. S. G.
