"E. W. MILLER DECEASED
    In the course of human events it is appointed for man once to die. God 
in His province saw fit to inflict E. W. Miller for several days and on the 
23 of April 1920 exited him from the walks of men.  Mr. Miller and Mrs. M. 
D. Adams were married October 6, 1892 from which union five children were 
born, three boys - Sim, Walter, and Mack and two girls, Mattie and Mary 
Moss.  Mr. Miller was 48 years old at his death and had lived in Coosa 
county practically all his life, and was one of Coosa’s quiet unassuming 
citizen. He joined the Methodist Church the same year he was married and 
was a member in good standing who God called him from earth to heaven.  A

Mrs. M. D. Miller feels very grateful to Dr. Powell of Buyck and the 
neighbors around Lebanon for their kindness and aid during the sickness and 
death of her husband, E. W. Miller, and takes this method of expressing

Note: Eli Walter Miller (b. 8 Mar 1872 in Coosa Co., AL & d. 23 Apr 1920 in 
Elmore Co., AL) married Mollie D. Adams (b. 27 Sep 1876 in AL & d. 14 Nov 
1937 in AL) on 6 Oct 1892 in Coosa Co., AL. Both are buried in Sears Chapel 
Cemetery, located about a mile north of Rockford, AL. Researched by Ronald 
Davis Bridges in 1997 and 7 Nov 1998.
