"MRS. E. E. MOONEY
    The death angel visited our home and carried away our beloved
grandmother, who is she had lived until the 18th of this month would
have been 86 years old.

    O slow to smite and swift to spare,
    Gentle, merciful and just,
    Who in the fear of God didn’t bear
    a world of power and trust,
    In sorrow by thy bier ever stand
    Thy task is done, thy life was pure.
    If we would guide by your hand
    And allow footsteps be just as sure
    Another is gone, her battles are done.
    Great Captain of battles we
    leave her with thee.
    Her work is all over,
    Her spirit, make it free.

    She leaves to mourn her death.  Mr. H. A., R. A., and G. L. Mooney,
all of Rockford, Ala., Mrs. W. L. and J. E. Mason, both of Columbiana,
Ala., Mrs. R. G. McGrady, Marble Valley, Ala., Mrs. S. N. McGrady, of
Gadsden, Ala., Mrs. B. A. Parker, of Wetumpka, Ala., fifty-one
grandchildren, fifty-two great grandchildren.    L. P. Burks."  (1)
