"INFANT FATALLY BURNED

    Funeral services were held at Sears Chapel Cemetery, last Saturday,
for the three year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Porch, of Forney,
Ala., who was critically burned when a kettle of boiling water on a
stove overturned.  Mrs. Porch is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sim
Kilgore of the Sears Chapel Community." (1)

Sarah Lynn Porch is buried in Sears Chapel Methodist Church
Cemetery, located about a mile north of Rockford, Coosa Co., AL on
Highway 231.  On her headstone: b. 12 Dec 1935 and d. 12 Jan 1939.  She
is buried near her Grandparents:  Simeon W. Kilgore & Florence L.
Kilgore.
