"Pleasant Hill Items 
    We are sorry to tell of the sad death of Mr. Patrick Waites, 
formerly of Coosa, but residing at Speigner at the time of his death. 
Mr. Waites had been in ill health for several months and on December the 
29th, 1909, death claimed its own and his spirit returned to the God 
from whence it came. He leaves a widow and three children at home and 
sever children married." (1)
