He is the son of John Henry Archer Miller & Roxie Gothard. They are both buried in Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, located near Hanover, Coosa Co., AL. He was a guard at Dupont powder plant approximately 1940. He went to WWII in the Army. His Mother (Roxie) died of cancer while he was gone. G. BRYCE MILLER SYLACAUGA – Graveside service for G. Bryce Millers, 89, will be Friday at 2 p.m. in Poplar Springs Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Camp and the Rev. Tommy Thornton officiating. Mr. Miller died Oct. 26 at Coosa Valley BMC. He was a veteran of World War II. He is survived by three nephews, Buck Miller of Sylacauga and John Miller and Junior Miller of Rockford and one niece, Jean Miller of Rockford. Pallbearers will be Edgar Hodges, Ray Ellison, Kenneth Brasher, Larry Carden, Robert Smith and Wayne Murchinson. Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel will direct the service.
