We were looking for the graves of IRA AND ELIZA RABREN. To our sorrow we could not locate them. We talked to Mrs Kelley, whose husband owns the land This is the history of the cemetary as she told it to us: We came to Andalusia in 1932. We purchased the land from Mr. Lawson. The cemetery was in dreadful shape, we cleaned it up the best we could. Floods and hurricanes had destroyed most of the markers. My husband did some research on the families buried there. He made this list from the information. We don't know who is buried in a lot of the graves.Years ago, some people from the poor farm were buried here. Most family members are buried in the same rows and sections. The family you are looking for is there. I do not know who is buried in 17 and 18, but it would more than likely be the two you could not find. My son works for the monument company, and he brought squares of marble home and marked each grave site. I wish I could help you more but this is all We know. Dan and I thanked her and continued our search.
