William Carpenter Charge- Trespassing State Trial Docket B Page 62, Final Record C page 53, Fee Book - B page 21 FALL TERM 1905 The State of Alabama Covington County, Circuit Court The GRAND JURY of said County charge that before the finding of this indictment, WILL CARPENTER, without legal cause or good excuse, entered on the premises of the Miller Brent Lumber Company, a private Corporation, incorporated under the laws of Alabama after having been warned, within six months preceding, not to do so. Agaist the Peace and dignity of the State of ALabama E.R. Brannen Pro-Term Solicitor of the 12th Judicial Circuit Writ of arrest. The State of ALabama, Covington County Curcuit Court To any Sheriff of the State of Alabama-Greeting: An Indictment having been found at the FALL term 1905 of the Circuit Court for the said County, against WILL CARPENTER, for the offense of Trespass after Warning. You are therefore commanded forthwith to arrest the said defendant-- and commit HIM to jail uinless HE give bond, to answer such indictmtny at the next term of our Circuit Court, to be holden for said County on the 2 Monday in June 1906, next, and make return of this writ according to Law. Witness my hand, this 6 Day of Dec. 1905. W.H. Jones, Clerk The State of Alabama, Covington Co. We, WILL CARPENTER, J.B. Carpenter & G.B. Lee agree to pay the State of AL. TWO HUNDRED Dollars, unless Will Carpenter appears at the next term of the Circuit Court of Said County, and from day to day, and from term to term, thereafter, until discharge by due course of Law, to answer an Indictment against WILL CARPENTER, in said Court, for the offense of Trespass after Warning, and we, and each of us hereby waive all rights of claims of exemption we or either of us have now or may have hereafter have, under the Constitution and Laws of the State of Alabama.
