On the afternoon of June 26, at about 9:00 o'clock the grim reaper came and took from Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Andress their baby, little Wilma. She was rushed to the hospital on June 24th for an operation for appendicitis. All that loving hands could do did not restore the dear one. She was born on August 13, 1924, and although permitted to live with her parents only about six short years, she had won a place in the hearts of all who knew her. Little Wilma was a ray of sunshine or a beautiful flower that God had placed in this home and since her departure, darkness has rushed in and filled the home. Her little chair is vacant no one to play with her dolls and her play house is so lonely. Her place is vacant in her Sunday school class where she was ever present. We can hear her little voice as she goes about so sweetly. But clouds of sorrow this little ray still beams down from it's heavenly home and beckons to her father, mother and loved ones to meet her where sad parting will be no more. Oh, how we will greatly miss the little form and childish prattle of little Wilma, and although God has plucked the precious flower from our midst, we have the sweet assurance that she is not dead forever but continues to live and grow brighter in that beautiful home prepared for all God's children. A host of broken hearted relatives and friends followed the little body to the Brooklyn Cemetery on the afternoon of June 27th, where it was laid away beneath a mound of pretty flowers, Rev. Eiland, Franklin, and McDurmont conducted the funeral services. Sleep on sweet darling for we know you are at rest.......writen by one who loved her.
