H. J. FEAGIN AT RED LEVEL FRIDAY Red Level was called on last week to mourn the death of one of her most highly esteemed and oldest citizens, Mr. Henry Feagin, who was called to his reward Friday night. Mr. Feagin had been in failing health for some time, but was always jolly and uncomplaining and was active in spite of his years and sickness. He was born in Conecuh county 84 years ago, but spent most of his life in Butler county, moving to Red Level 15 years ago. Since moving to this place he and his good wife, who survives him, have always been identified with every movement that tended to uplift and they numbered their friends by all those who knew them. A consistent member of the Methodist church, Mr. Feagin was always found trying to follow the steps of the Master whom he served. After a short funeral service at the residence Saturday afternoon conducted by Rev. W. Bancroft, his pastor, assisted by Rev. W. M. Willis of the Presbyterian church, the remains of the Saint of Israel were carried to Georgiana where they were interred in the family lot. Surviving him are his age companion, two daughters, Mrs. R. B. McDavid of Andalusia, Mrs. J. T. Clark of Red Level, and one son Mr. A. H. Feagin of Georgiana. They have the sympathy of a host of friends who grieve with them. Additional Comments: OTHER RED LEVEL NEWS Quite a number of Red Level people went to Georgiana Saturday to attend the funeral of Mr. H. J. Feagin.
