The Andalusia Star - May 02,1930 Edition
Mr. Cary Carpenter
  Mr. Cary Carpenter, aged 74, of Florala, Route 1 died at his Hughes Farm
between Andalusia and Florala on Monday. Burial took place at Avon Church on 
Tuesday. 

Additional Comments:
Cary Carpenter's parents were William & Savannah Donaldson CARPENTER.
He married Joanna Griffin about 1871 & divorced by 1895.
They had the following Children:
George,Jessie Monroe,Gus Eldridge,Willie Ozzie, John Dosh & Mary Ellen 
Carpenter. Joanna Griffin Carpenter never remarried & died in 1930 in FL. 
herself.
