CANNIE BRUNSON Mrs. Cannie Brunson, 78, of 214 Pugh Street, died in a Local Hospital on Saturday, July 11, after a long illness. Mrs. Brunson was the former Cannie Lee BARNES of Dozier. After her husband's death in 1925, Mrs. Brunson operated the family farm in the Rawls community for many years. She made her home with her son, Glenn. Mrs. Brunson was a member of the Congregational Church on Duncan Street. Funeral services were held at The Oak Grove Baptist Church with Rev. James Jackson officiating. Music was by the Church Choir accompanied by Leon Odom. Burial was in the Church Cemetery. Survivors other than her Andalusia Son are 3 daughters, Mrs. Virginia Mae Davis, Spanish Fort; Carrie Lee Bailey, Andalusia; and Mrs. Minnie Lee Livingston, Johnson City, Tenn.; twelve grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Will Barnes, Tamps Fla. Pallbearers are Alfred Adams, O. C. Graves, George Wallace, Harold Little, Yancey Kelley and Aurthur Wallace.
