J. H. LOWERY DIES

	Death claimed J. H. Lowery, 76, at his home in West Highlands, 
Andalusia, Sunday night, July 1 at 7:30 o’clock following an illness of 
several months.
	Services were held from Fairmount Baptist Church Monday afternoon at 
four o’clock with Rev. E. C. Dilbeck of Andalusia, officiating.  Interment was 
made in the Fairmount cemetery.
	Mr. Lowery is survived by his widow, nine sons, J. W. Lowery, 
Evergreen; J. A., Mobile; J. B., Jay, Fla.; H. E., Brewton; F. Z., Andalusia; 
Lewis, Ray and Luther, Andalusia; nine daughters, Mrs. J. J. Dickens, Mobile; 
Mrs. C. D. Lee, Birmingham; Mrs. J. W. Cook, Red Level; Mrs. P. O. Cook, Oakey 
Streak; Mrs. Frank Hudson, Milton, Fla.; Mrs. Velma Cagle, Pensacola; Mrs. 
Inez Parrish, Miss Callie and Miss Lucy Lowery, Andalusia.  Benson and Company
