ELIZABETH MITCHELL Mrs. Elizabeth Mitchell, age 75, died early Monday morning at the home of her son Mr. George Mitchell, with whom she made her home. “Granny” Mitchell as she was lovingly called by many admiring friends was a lovely Christian character and for many years had lived a consistent Christian life. She was born in Georgia and had been a resident of Red Level about seven years. A devoted member of the Methodist church, Mrs. Mitchell never lost an opportunity to work for her Master. She is survived by three sons, Messrs. George and John Mitchell of Red Level and Joe Mitchell of Atlanta. Several grandchildren will also cherish the memory of a loving grandmother. The funeral services were held at Fairmount Baptist Church Tuesday morning by her pastor Rev. D. L. Folsom and the remains of this good woman were laid to rest in Fairmount Baptist Church Cemetery.
