Mrs. Ruby Lee Wood, Former Andalusian, Dies In Largo, Fla. Mrs. Rube (sic) Lee Wood, of Largo, Fla., and a former resident of Andalusia, died Monday, February 12. Graveside services will be held in Andalusia at the Magnolia Cemetery at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 15. Rev. Lee Spencer, pastor of the First Methodist Church, will officiate. Mrs. Wood was a member of First Methodist when she resided in Andalusia. The body will lie in state at Foreman Funeral Home from Thursday morning until time of the graveside services. Mrs. Wood was the widow of Charlie W. Wood. Mr. Wood served for several years as the depot agent for the Central of Georgia Railroad in Andalusia, until his death in 1940. Survivors include two daughters, (private); and two grandchildren. Mrs. Wood was a cousin of Mrs. W. M. Browder, of Andalusia. Source: Family records.
