Cary C. Carpenter married Joanna Griffin? after 1870 in Covington Co. & they 
divorced before his second marriage. Records were lost in the Courthouse Fires.
Cary's "KNOWN" Children by Joanna were Jesse Monroe Carpenter, George 
Carpenter, Willie Ozzie Carpenter, Gus Eldridge, Mary Ellen Carpenter & John
