Tucker The State of Alabama, Lowndes County... Know all men by these present that we, Ira J. Tucker and Priscilla A. [Dendy] Tucker, wife of said Ira J. Tucker of the County and State aforesaid, for and in consideration of the sum of one dollar to us in hand paid by Thomas W. Thrower, Sr., William Duke, and William H. Tucker, all of the County and State, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant, bargain, sell and enfeoff and confirm unto the said Thomas W. Thrower, William Duke, and William H. Tucker, Trustees in Trust and their successors in office, the following described plot of land to wit: Two acres part of SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 12, Township 11, Range 18, commencing at the grave of the said Ira J. Tucker's child running North 50 yards, the said grave being the center of said plot of ground in the land district subject to sale at Cahaba to have and to hold the above mentioned and described piece of land situated as aforementioned together with the privilege thereto belonging or in any wise appertaining unto them the said Thomas W. Thrower, Sr., William Duke, and William H. Tucker, Trustees in Trust and their successors in office that they shall erect and build or cause to be built thereon a house for use as a school house for the benifit of neighborhood; also a for a preaching house and the privilege of the present grave yard or burying ground, and we the said Ira J. Tucker and Priscilla A. Tucker, wife of said Ira J. Tucker, do covenant with the said Thomas W. Thrower, Sr., William Duke, and William H. Tucker, Trustees in Trust, and their successors in office, rhat we have a good right to sell and convey the same to them, the afore mentioned Trustees in Trust, that the same is free from all encumbrances and that we will warrant and forever defend the aforementioned premises unto them the said Trustees in Trust for the use and previleges aforementioned forever against the Claims of ourselves, our heirs, and assigns and against the claims of all persons whatsoever.
