Spradley died very suddenly at her home near Love Oak last Wednesday morning. Mrs. Spradley has just recovered from a spell of slow fever, and all appearances was doing well, and when she dropped dead early Wednesday morning, it was a complete surprise to her friends."(1) (1)The Gleaner, April 29, 1898 Note: Deborah Ann Welch Lowery (b. 28 Mar 1843 in Butler Co., AL and d. 27 Apr 1898 in Crenshaw Co., AL) married Thomas Harrison Spradley (b. 22 Feb 1842 in Ramer, Montgomery Co., AL and d. 30 Jun 1919 in Crenshaw Co., AL) on 13 Feb 1866 in Butler Co., AL. They are both buried in Live Oak United Methodist Church Cemetery, Patsburg, Crenshaw Co., AL.
