Kelley http://www.genrecords.net/emailregistry/vols/00033.html#0008183 March 26, 2017, 9:26 am Obituary Collection of Kathlyn J Folmar FOLMAR, JAMES MADISON (8-18-1848 – 11-12-1930) James Madison Folmar, 82, died at home here [Luverne, Ala., Crenshaw County] on Wednesday at 5 a.m., following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held at the Luverne Baptist Church tomorrow at 1 p.m., with the Rev. O. P. Bentley and the Rev. L. H. S. Chappelle officiating. Burial will be at Emmaus Cemetery, Luverne. Mr. Folmar is survived by five sons, T. B. Folmar, G. A. Folmar, Jr., W. J. Folmar, H. G. Folmar, and R. R. Folmar, all of Luverne; six daughters, Mrs. I. R. Reddoch, Mrs. W. F. Parks, and Mrs. Brunson Howard of Luverne, Mrs. M. L. Morgan of Brantley, Ala., Mrs. V. G. Perdue of Blakely, Ga., and Mrs. Charlie Beall of Brewton, Ala.; one sister, Mrs. Fannie Walker of Luverne; three brothers, W. B. Folmar of Troy, Ala., Henry Folmar of Savannah, Ga., and George A. Folmar of Oklahoma City, Okla. Mr. Folmar was born in Pike County, Ala., and has lived in Luverne approximately 40 years. For many years, he was prominent in the business and civic life of the community.
