GRANT, JOYCE GLENETTE THOMAS (b. 5-2-1935 – d. 6-2-1969)

	Mrs. Glenette Thomas Grant, 34, died on Monday, June 2, 1969, at her residence
at Glenwood, Ala., Crenshaw County.  Funeral services will be on Wed., June 4,
at 2 p.m. at Bluff Springs Baptist Church, with Rev. I. N. Mathews and Rev. Neal
Jackson officiating.  Burial will follow in Green Hills Memorial Park, Troy,
Ala., with McGehee Funeral Home directing.  Active pallbearers will be Mrs.
Grant’s nephews.
	Survivors include the widower, Harper Grant of Glenwood; a son, Anthony Grant
of Glenwood; her mother, Mrs. Henry T. Thomas, Sr. [Nurnie Minerva Jeffcoat], of
Goshen, Ala.; three sisters, Mrs. Allen Shirley, Troy, Mrs. Virginia Knight,
Tallahassee, Fla., and Mrs. Jackie Sims, Troy; five brothers, Wilbur Thomas,
Montgomery, Ala., Jack Thomas, Atlanta, Ga., Henry T. Thomas, Jr., Phenix City,
Ala., Ray Thomas, Mobile, Ala., and Emory Thomas of Goshen.
	The body may be viewed at the church during the one hour prior to services.
