She was one of the oldest and best woman of Crenshaw and is survived by several children among whom are John Spradley of Patsburg. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. S. E. Boroughs of Brantley." (1) (1) The Luverne Journal, March 1, 1917 Note: Julia died in the home of her son Stephen Anderson Spradley. Julia (Boone) Spradley (b. 28 Jul 1824 in Fayetteville, N. C. and d. 24 Feb 1917 in Troy, Pike Co., AL) married James Stephen Spradley (b. 19 Dec 1816 in Camden, Kershaw Co., S.C. and d. 2 Sep 1894 in Patsburg, Crenshaw Co., AL) 1843 in AL. They are both buried side by side in Live Oak Methodist Church Cemetery, Patsburg, Crenshaw Co., AL.
