William Martin Moore (son of Asa C. Moore and Gerina J. Sizemore) born April 
11, 1845 in Talbot County, Georgia and died January 11, 1931 in Ivy Creek, 
Crenshaw County, Alabama. Served the CSA in the 61st Alabama Infantry, Company 
E. Entered as a private on Nov 3, 1863 at Pollard, Alabama. He was captured at 
Petersburg, Va. on May 19, 1864. He was paroled at Elmira, NY prison on June 
19, 1865. (from 1907 Census of Confederate Veterans: Crenshaw County, Alabama) 
Married Martha Ann Holland on July 27, 1868 in Crenshaw County, Alabama.
