The State of Alabama, Crenshaw County

To any Ordained or Licensed Minister of The Gospel, Judge of the Circuit Court 
or Probate Courts, Justice of the Peace for said County Greeting:
   You are hereby authorized to celebrate the RITES OF MATRIMONY bewteen  
W.L. Barnes and Mrs. Mary Henderson and this shall be your sufficient 
authority  for so doing.
Given under my hand and seal, this 30 Day of Nov. 1883
B.A. Walker - Judge of probate (L.S.)

The above named parties were married by me at Mr. Fate Jackson's residence 
on the 2 Day of December 1883.  J.A. Lee Justice of The Peace in said County 
and State
These parties are of age- settled here handwritten on bottom.
However, it was signed by W.L. Barnes & WM Jackson (L.S.) Nov. 30 1883

Note: Mary was a Jackson before her marriage to Henderson, then Barnes
