There is no serious illness that we know of. Digging potatoes is the order of the day. Our school opens at Wheat on Monday. We hope every pupil will be present and our school will be a great success. We are glad Edward Strickland is recovering from diphtheria. Mr. and Mrs. Voight Hyatt moved to their new home at Trade last week. Mr. and Mrs. I. H. Eady and daugher were in Cullman shopping Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Columbus Harbison spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Lee Howlett. Dennie Perdue and Miss Mildred Phillips were happily married Sunday at Good Hope. We wish them a long and happy life. Mr. and Mrs. Delmer Freeman moved into our community from Jasper this week. J. W. Harbison and wife, of Cullman, spent Sunday here with relatives. Mrs. Vassie Campbell was in Cullman Saturday. Miss Ethel Harbison spent Friday night with her sister, Mrs.Dovie Calvert. There were several attended preaching[s] at Bethany Sunday. Miss Arrie Eady spent Saturday night withher aunt, Mrs. J. W. Harbison, at Culllman. Mr. and Mrs. Bascum Miller spent Sunday with her grandfather, C. H. Harbison. Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Harbison spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Willis Calvert. Lee Howlett and family, HOmer Burrow and wife spent Thursday in Cullman shopping. Elbert Hancock and wife spent the week end with Mrs. Lila Perdue and children. Everybody remember the services at Bethany every third Saturday and Sunday and also Sunday School every Sunday and B. Y. P. U. every Sunday night.
