Mrs. Mayer condected the Santa Claus in this city for many years and her stock has given joy to the children more than any other place. Since the death of Mrs. Myers, a little child said, Well I guess Santa Claus will not come any more. For more than forty years Mrs. Mayer has been serving each generation with toys and her passing will be sincerely mourned by little folks of Cullman. The funeral was held from St. John's Evangelicial Lutheran Church on Sunday, November 15, at 2:00 o'clock. The burial taking place in the Protestant Cemetery. Services were held by her pastor, Rev. W. H. Aufderhaar and the following gentleman were active pall- bearers: Max Oeser, Geo. Stahmer, Phil Hartung, Ed Heitmueller, Conrad Graf, and John Fehler.
