He was educated in the common schools of his native county. He is a farmer and merchant. He represented Dale County in the legislature of 1903. He is a Democrat and a Universalist. Married: to Phebia Mary, daughter of John H. and Phebia Weed, natives of South Carolina. Residence: Aristo.
