"Tombstone Inscriptions from ANTIOCH (?) CEMETERY Located on left of Ozark- Skipperville Highway about 10 from Ozark, on the farm now owned by a Mr. DYKES. Inquire of location if desire to visit as it is hard to locate. Growed up mighty bad. The above mentioned Mr. Dykes (Father of Sheriff Dykes-Dale Co. ) accompanied me while securing this record. As I recall only a few Tombs were standing. Others were located flat on the Ground. It is definitely possible that more Tombs are buried under vines, weeds, and bushes so numerous in this cemetery. Some PEACOCKS are buried there but their identity is still a mystery. Mr. EDD DYKES directed me to two spots where Tombs were located and said that was all he could recall being there. It being late afternoon and having no facilities for cutting my way around I made no further search." Ogburn, C.B. Pinkney, nov. 14, 1850- Sept. 9, 1857, S/o A.H. & S. Ogburn.
