Starting at City Hall in Daleville, stay on US Highway 85 South, go one-half mile, then turn right on St. Mark's Place. There are two signs here, one pointing to New Summer Hill Missionary Baptist Church, the other pointing to St. Mark A. M. E. Church. Both churches are in the yard together, with the cemetery in between. I don't know which graves belong to which church, but would appreciate knowing! There are several unmarked graves in this small cemetery, and the inscriptions on some are illegible. Transcribed on 11 August 2003, by Judith Fowler, judith_fowler@hotmail.com.
