Stephens; I am the widow of Samuel E. Stephens, who died 13 March 1923 at home in Dale Co., Ala., in the state of Alabama. He was2 at the Time of his death enrolled on the pension roll of Dale County. My present address is Skipperville, Dale Co., Alabama. I was married at home, in the county of Dale, state of Alabama on February 8, 1866. I was born in Skipperville, county of Dale, state of Alabama, August 4, 1849 and my age is 75 years and 7 months, and 14 days. I have not lived in any other state than Alabama. I am now living with J.A. Stephens, whose address is Skipperville, Dale Co., Alabama. The name of my children: T. C. Stephens, Enterprise, Alabama, a lawyer—J. A. Stephens, Skipperville, Alabama, a farmer—F. C. Strickland, Skipperville, Alabama, a Housewife—Robert D. Stephens, Shelman, Georgia, miller—M. V. Sowell, Daleville, Alabama, a housewife—C. M. Stephens, Georgiana, Alabama, a farmer— A. C. Stephens, Pasadena, California, public work—E. E. Stephens, Ozark, Alabama, a farmer—I. L. Stephens, Skipperville, Alabama, a farmer. One son, J. W.
