PROMOTED TO MAJOR AT FORT SILL, OKLA. Major Charles C. Adams is the husband of the former Miss Kathleen Riley, daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Pat Riley of Ozark. Major and Mrs Riley now live in Auburn. JOHN OWEN WOODS PROMOTED TO CAPTAIN JAMES A. BRADFORD REPORTS FOR DUTY WITH NAVY (In the article it has the name as James Radford, CGT.) James Radford is the son of Katie Pouncey Radford and the late J.H. Radford, of Hartford and the grandson of Mrs. Emma Pouncey of Dale County. Cheshire of rt. 1, Midland City. ARITON SERGEANT NOW ON DUTY IN ALASKA T/Sgt. Gordon K. Riles is the son of the late Mrs. J.M. Riles of Ariton. HOYETT ADAMS SAFE AND WELL IN JAP CAMP Mrs. Bob Turner has received a card from her brother Warrant Officer Hoyett P. Adams, held by the Japanese as a prisoner .
