W.C. HEAD, JR. COMPLETES EPOCHAL FLIGHT IN NEW GUINEA Captain Willie Chester Head, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Head of 50 Owen Street, Ozark, Alabama. Enlisted Oct. 2, 1941. ROYCE SMITH, US NAvy son of Mrs. G.R. Smith. Captain Ralph D. Wells and Captain Ray Friedman spent weekend with Mr. and Mrs. L.E. Wells. SGT. WILMER LISENBY AT HOME ON FURLOUGH. At home for a few days, with wife and Baby, now station at Camp Campbell, Ky. T/SGT. GORDON K. RILES ENJOYS READING THE STAR (from Ariton, Al.) Station somewhere on the Aleutian Islands. SGT. JESSE F. SNELL OVERSEAS FOR 2 YEARS 26 year old son of MR. and Mrs. Jesse F. Snell of Newville, Route 1, is somewhere in Italy.(There was a picture of him in the paper). CPL. FLETCHER LEATHERWOOD Station at Camp Gruber, Ok.at home on furlough. HIRMAN A. NORTON, Lake City, Fla. spent weekend with parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bud Norton. Lt. and Mrs. Ard Sorrell spent a few days with his mother, Mrs. Toxie Sorrell, He is stationed at Winfield, Kanas. Lt. and Mrs. J.D. Orr and Dau. visited his parents, Dr. and Mrs. W.L. Orr. He is station Greensboro, N.C. Lt. and Mrs.Thomas Davis and son spent two days with his mother, Mrs. Jeff Davis. He is stationed at Maxwell field, Ala. Sgt. Leon H.
