S. Army Transport Walter W. D. Schwenk, which docked at Oakland. Calif., Saturday, the army public relations office has announced. Of the 3,257 bodies which are being returned from Saipan and Honolulu, 61 were returned at instructions of next-of-kin residing in Alabama. Two Dale County men were included in the group returned aboard the Schwenk. They were Sgt. Travis Scott, U. S. Army, whose next-of-kin is Daniel R. Scott, of Ariton rt.2, and Pfc. Neal C. Snell, U. S. Marines, whose next-ot-kin is Mrs. H. C. Snell. Ozark rt. 2. The group aboard the Schwenk is the largest to be returned from the Pacific todate.
