  Jitney Jungle Has New Owners
F. S. Warr & Foster Harden Buy Popular Grocery Business

  The Ozark Jitney Jungle, one of the most popular food stores in Southeast 
Alabama has been purchased by Messrs. F. S. Warr and Foster Harden, local 
business men who are now operating this grocery business.
  The Ozark Jitney Jungle was established In 1929 by Mr. F. C. Whigham and 
since the day of its opening has been one of the most complete food stores to 
be found
anywhere. The new owners purchased the store outright as well as the Jitney 
Jungle franchise for this city.
  Mr. Floyd Warr is well known to the people of Ozark. For the past eight years 
he has been in charge of the Market Department of this popular store. Mr. 
Harden is a native of Dale County and is also well known to the people of Ozark 
and surrounding territory. He recently moved to Ozark from his home in Beat 2.
  Mr. Kermit Shirah, who has been employed by the Jitney Jungle for the past 
four years has been named Store Manager.  Mr. Shirah has many friends in Ozark 
who are pleased to learn of his promotion.
 The Jitney Jungle will continue to carry a complete line of fancy and staple 
groceries. The stock is being enlarged to include every item to be found in a 
modem food store. The market department will remain under the supervision of Mr.
 Warr and under his expert management the same high grade meatswill be handled.
