Wednesday morning, March 4, 1885 Page Two From Daleville Mr. J.J. Morris, lately a teacher here, has gone west, visiting the Exposition on the way. Wesley Snell has returned from Florida. Mr. Hudgins is happy again: it is a boy. He says it’s just like its father. Well, we can’t vouch for its good looks then. Rev. Angus Dowling will preach here the fifth Sunday and Saturday before. His regular appointment is on the third Saturday. The Baptists meet on the first Sunday and Saturday before. – Rev. W.J. Hatcher, pastor From all reports, Daleville has the largest school in the county, and we need a larger and better building for the Academy. Why not use the old one for the assistant teacher and erect a new one for a High School?
