DEATHS Mrs. Elsie E. Hawksworth Mrs. Elsie E. Hawksworth, 82, of 302 Green Village Road, Ozark, passed away late Saturday night in the Dale County Hospital following a brief illness. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the Holman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy J. Johnson officiating. Interment followed in the Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Holman Funeral Home directing. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Bruhn of Ozark; three sons, John Hawksworth of North Fork, Calif., Frank Hawksworth, Fort Collins, Colorado and Joe Hawksworth, Clovis, Calif. Paul F. Strickland Paul F. Strickland, 62, of Ozark Rt. 3, died Monday morning in the Dale County Hospital following an extended illness. Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Tuesday; from the Ewell Bible Church with the Rev. G.L Wynn and Wayne Reynolds officiating. Burial followed in the Ewell Cemetery with Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Mr. Strickland was a member of the Ewell Bible Church and a Veteran of WWII. He is survived by his wife, Estelle T. Strickland of Ozark, Rt. 3; three daughters, Mrs. Ned Grantham and Mrs. Neal Judah, both of Ozark and Mrs. Don Windham, Headland; one sister, Mrs. H.C. Gill of Ozark; one brother, Cullen Strickland of Ozark; 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive. Willie N. Brogden Willie N. Brogden, 74, of Ozark, formerly of Houston County, passed away Tuesday night in an Ozark nursing home. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday from the Holman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Johnny LaCarter officiating. Interment followed in the Campground Cemetery with Holman Funeral Home directing. Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Eva MacBast, Las Vegas, Nevada; three brothers, J.B. and Dewey Brogden, both of Ozark and Richard Brogden of Dothan; several neices and nephews also survive. Mrs. Edna McFadden SARASOTA, FL.- Mrs. Edna McFadden of Sarasota, FIa. died Wednesday, April 26. A former resident of Ozark, she is survived by her husband, Grady McFadden, a daughter, Mrs. Richard Arnold, both of Sarasota, a brother, Bobby Heath, of Enterprise and two grandchildren.
