Skipperville Lights

Locals are scarce in these parts, especially anything of much interest.

A protracted meeting commenced at Pleasant Ridge Baptist church last Saturday. 
Rev. Mr. Poyner pastor.  The members of this church are engaged in ceiling their
house of worship.

The members of Asbury Methodist church have undertaken to build them a new church.

The members of Salem Baptist church have just completed a neat little church house.

A meeting of considerable interest has just closed at this church.

Union Presbyterian church have arose and commenced to build.  We learn that they
have a fine beginning, and expect during the autumn to complete a neat church. 
Let the good work of all the churches roll.
