“Signs of the Times” Primitive Baptist Periodical, November 1957 Issue

LILLIE M. AUSTIN – Dale Co.
	Mrs. Lillie M. Austin, a life-long resident of Route 2, Newton, Ala., died on
July 23, 1957, age 81, after an extended illness.  Her husband preceded her in
death by about 25 years.
	She was the daughter of Ben Thomley and was a pioneer member of Mt. Gilead
Primitive Baptist Church and an active citizen of her community.  She is
survived by several nieces and nephews.
	Funeral services were conducted by Elder J. J. Collins at her beloved Mt.
Gilead Church, with interment in the adjoining cemetery.  (Elder) J. J. Collins
