Little Alva, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. D.Y. Dowling, died last Monday morning
after an illness of several weeks duration and was buried at Claybank church at
a late hour Monday evening.

Dear friends, weep not for your little darling is now
“Safe in the arms of Jesus
Safe on his gentle breast,
There by his love o’er shaded
Sweetly his soul shall rest.”
