Dowling, died last Monday morning after an illness of several weeks duration, and was buried at Claybank church at a late hour Monday evening. Dear friends, weep not for your little darling, for he is now “Safe in the arms of Jesus Safe on his gentle breast, There by his love o’er shaded Sweetly his soul shall rest.” Additional Comments: Per Find A Grave, Alva Augusta Dowling DOB: July 28, 1883 - DOD: Sept. 8, 1884 is buried at Claybank Cemetery. His parents, Daniel Young Dowling & Rebecca J. Dick Dowling are buried there also. *Please note I am only distantly related to this family and do not have any information for them. My connection to the Dowling family is thru Dempsey Dowling. His youngest child, Frances J. Dowling, is my 3rd great- grandmother.
