During young womanhood she moved with her parents to Alabama, and settled in Dale County. She was married to Mr. John F. Faulk in the year 1842, by whom she became the mother of seven sons and two daughters. In June 1872 she publicly professed faith in Jesus Christ, and joined the Methodist E. Church South, at Ozark, Ala. From that time forth her Christian life was beautifully and charmingly consistent. She shed forth a sweet influence in the church and community in which she lived. She gave herself in ministries of charity to the needy. But this pure Christian was called from the cross to the crown at 11 o’clock a.m. January 22, 1885, after severe sickness of pneumonia of six days. She said to her pastor that she was fully ready to die – had no doubts – no fears – all was bright above. She was a good wife, loving mother, true sister, and faithful friend. She leaves a stricken and sad husband, weeping children, two brothers, one sister, many other relatives and friends to mourn her departure. At 11 a.m. Saturday a large congregation attended her burial at Ozark, the services of which in the church and at the grave, were conducted by the Rev. Angus Dowling. Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord. P. Additional Comments: *Please note I'm not related to this family nor do I have any information on them.
