Former Ozarkian Dies Christmas Day In Dothan Mrs. Phillip B. McLaughlin, the former Clementine Brown died in a Dothan hospital Christmas morning following a brief illness. She was 42 years old. Mrs. McLaughlin was a native of Ozarh and her many friends here were grieved to hear of her passing. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W." A. Brown. Sr. Educated in the schools in Ozark and later attended Alabama College at Montevallu, Mrs. McLaughlin was a popular young lady among the people here. Following her marriage to Phillip B. McLaughlin in 1935 they moved to Dothan where Mr. McLaughlin was engaged In business. In true tradition Mrs. McLaughlin became active In civic and social work in Dothan and remained so until her death. She was a member of the Dothan Service League, the Cherokee Garden Club and the Episcipa] Church of the Nativity. Funeral services were held at the residence in Dothan Friady, December 26 with the Rev. Ben A. Meginniss, rector of the Episcopal Church of the Nativity officiating. Burial followed in Memory Hill Cemetery in Dothan. Mrs. McLaughlin is survived by her husband, a son, Ben McLaughlin of Dothan and three brothers W. C. Brown, W. A.
