This file was contributed and copyrighted by: Christine Grimes Thacker ==================================================================== October 2000 The Banner, Tuesday Thursday, July 7, 1892 Ozark, Dale County, Alabama Wicksburg, Dale Co., June 19 Whereas It has pleased Almighty God to remove from our midst our brother, James THOMLEY, who was born August 18, 1860, and departed this life June 18, 1892, and Whereas, He was a faithful member of this Primary Alliance, No. 615, therefore Resolved, 1st That we bow with submission to the Divine will as we comfort ourselves with he thought that what is our loss is his eternal gain. 2d. That we herewith tender our heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family,and ask that they will look to Him for comfort who doeth all things well. 3rd That our alliance hall be draped in mourning, as manifesting somewhat our sense of loss and profound grief. 4th That these preambles and resolutions be spread upon the secretary's book, and a copy of the same be sent to the Banner for publication, and one sent to the family of the deceased.
