Wednesday, July 25, 1888 Page Three Obituary Theodosia E. Mullins, wife of John L. Mullins and daughter of John T. and Mary M. Lee, was born in Dale county, Alabama, April 27, 1850. Brought up by pious parents, she was early and deeply impressed with the doctrine and duty of religion. In her fourteenth year she was clearly and scripturally converted, and joined the Methodist E. Church South, under the ministry of Rev. E.L. Loveless, of which she was an earnest, faithful and working member till called from labor to rest, June 25, 1888, aged 38 years, 1 month and 28 days. She was the mother of ten children, one of whom went home to rest and rejoice ahead of the mother. Her father yet lives, though her sainted mother was called home some twenty years ago. She was a dutiful and loving child, a faithful and devoted wife, a fond and affectionate mother, a good and prompt church member, and a just and generous neighbor. In youth she was beautiful and charming. In womanhood and motherhood her character was beautiful and lovely. She leaves many relatives and friends to mourn her sudden departure. She died of heart disease. She shines in glory. We shall meet her there.
