Mr. G.B. Wilkinson, oldest son of Hon. Levi Wilkinson, of our county, died at
his home a few miles northeast of Ozark, in the early part of last week, after
an illness of only three or four days’ duration.  Mr. W. was just entering the
threshold of young and vigorous manhood, with a reasonable hope of a long and
useful life before him.  But alas, in the “midst of life we are in death,” and
when our young friend was least expecting it, the dread monster came, and today
his manly form lies in the silent tomb, there to remain until the resurrection
morn.  To his father, mother, brothers, and the wife of his bosom and little
babe, the STAR extends sincere sympathy in this great sorrow.
