LOWREY’ brigade, the 16th, 33rd, and 45th Ala. And the 32nd and 45th Miss. Regiments. Col. WOOD of the 16th Ala. Was brigadier gen. Until after the battle of Perrville (sic) Ky. Oct. 1862 when he resigned, and Col. LOWRY of the 32nd Mississippi was made brigadier general. There was three brigades of the old division. LOWERY’s composed of Alabamians and Mississippians. CLEBOURN’s old brigade, afterwards Gen. GOVAN’s from Arkansas. GOVAN was aounded at Franklin Tenn. Gen. CHURCHHILL’s afterwards gen. GRANBURRIE’s from Texas. GRANBURY was killed at Franklin Tenn. In 1864 SMITH’s or M___or SMITH’s brigade of Georgians was added to the division. They were not with us at Franklin Tenn. However being off on detail.
